New York Mini Family Session (father and son)
A friend of mine called me up and asked if I can do a mini photo session for his kid and I was happy to do that for him. Sunlight is a treasured asset in the month of November and I asked that he comes to my studio at least 1 hour before sunset but be it as it may he got stuck in traffic and we only had 20 minutes of light to work with. When I saw Max it was clear to me that he's not a photo studio kind of personality. He's a free spirit so the decision was made to shoot outside. I had prepared an external flash that is remotely triggered by my camera. My own son, Adam, who's 4.5 came out to assist with the lights and we were able to bang the whole family session out in just under 20 minutes.
