Children Photography –Tips
I am guilty, just as most parents are of “loosing focus” when photographing my their children. I get excited by the emotional exchange while being submersed in the moment and lose sight of “technicalities” of a successful photograph.
Unfortunately, when a viewer looks at his photograph the “technicalities” distract from the emotional connection and weaken the overall compelling effect.
In the example below (a photograph I recently took of my wife and son) I didn’t notice Adam’s bright white socks with an overwhelming “PUMA” brand. Let me know if you find the socks as distracting as I do.
